Internal Audit

An internal audit function is in place throughout the group. This is an independent appraisal mechanism that examines and evaluates the group’s procedures and systems, including internal controls, disclosure procedures and information systems, ensuring these are functioning effectively. The head of internal audit reports to the chair of the Naspers audit committee, with administrative reporting to the inancial director. A large part of the internal audit fieldwork is outsourced.
